Strides Energy & Maritime Limited is an Onshore and Offshore Construction, Offshore Vessels Supply and Operation Services Company that provides and operates Jackup Barges for Offshore Oil/Gas Construction and Production works.

The company was incorporated in 1992, and commenced maritime services in 2000. SEML started with the supply and operation of Swamp Dredgers, Barges, Tugboats and House Boats.

In the first quarter of 2021, we acquired a set of 2 SEWOPS (Jackup Barges) namely MV Tiger Shark – Class 230 and MV Black Jack – Class 200.

The two Jackup Barges have been in operation since then, supporting Offshore Oil and Gas Construction Operations for Exploration & Production companies.

SEML is on the bidding list of all Major Oil and Gas Operators in Nigeria through NIPEX. Its current clients include Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, Agip and Chevron.
